Mission:

 

Speaking Life   To win souls, inviting the unsaved to life in Christ. (Col 4:3)
To pray, actively resourcing the power of life in Christ. (Col 4:2)

Strengthening Love   To disciple believers, growing in love for Christ. (Jn 13:34; Titus 2:1-15)
To worship God, expressing love for Christ in words & actions. (Jn 4:23-24)

Shining Light    To serve people, shining His light by good works. (Mt 5:16)
To build community, reflecting His light in the fellowship of believers. (1 Jn 1:3)

Practicing the Early Church:  (Win Souls – Disciple – Build Community – Worship – Pray)

Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.
And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. (Acts 2:41-42 NKJV)

Pursuing the Greatest Commandments:  (Worship; Serve)

“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”  Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
This is the first and great commandment.   And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’
On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22:36-40 NKJV)

Promoting the Great Commission:  (Win souls – Disciple)

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15 NKJV)

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matt 28:18-20 NKJV)
